Consulting & Technology Focus on Geography in H2

As part of the North American recovery and transformation program launched in January 2005, Capgemini’s consulting and technology businesses will be organized by geography effective July 1, with four area directors responsible for sales and delivery in the US, and national leaders for Canada and Mexico. Two vertical industry groups (Telecom Media & Entertainment and Government Solutions) will remain as stand-alone P&L units, but Capgemini is committed to driving profitable growth and simplifying our go-to-market efforts around local geographies is part of that commitment to our clients and employees. Here are some highlights from around the 6 areas:

  • East
    Lanny Cohen is the East Area Director with 25 years of Capgemini service and industry experience, including the 2003 /2004 chairman of the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF). Lanny leads the go-to-market efforts across 15 states in the Northeast and Southeast with a focus on driving SAP, transformation consulting, system integration, supply chain and CRM solutions. Lanny’s team will target financial services, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, consumer products and retail companies.

  • Midwest
    Tim Crichfield is a 25 year veteran of Capgemini and former CFO of the North America SBU who leads the Midwest charge across 12 states, with a focus on driving SAP, application development & integration and CRM solutions. Tim’s team will target consumer products, financial services, automotive, manufacturing & life sciences companies.

    Bill Campbell spent 15 years at GE Information Services in a variety of sales and business development leadership positions before joining Capgemini in 2001, and he leads the go-to-market efforts across the 12 state Southern region with a focus on driving SAP, supply chain and CRM solutions. Bill’s team will target energy, utility and retail companies.

    Kevin Poole spent 18 years at GE Information Services in a variety of sales, marketing & technical leadership roles before joining Capgemini in 2000 as national supply chain leader, and he leads the go-to-market efforts across the 11 state Western region with a focus on driving SAP, Oracle, supply chain and CRM solutions. Kevin’s team will target automotive, high-tech and life sciences companies.

    Geoff Cronin spent 5 years at Systemhouse in Winnipeg as a senior ERP executive before joining Capgemini as national sales leader in 2000, and he leads the go-to-market efforts across all of Canada with a focus on driving ERP, CRM, transformation consulting and application development & integration solutions. Geoff’s team will target financial services, utilities and consumer products companies, as well as the federal public sector in Ottawa.

    Fernando Garrido remains the consulting and technology sales and delivery leader for Mexico, and his team will continue to focus on ERP package implemention and system integration for the beverage, retail and manufacturing industries.
